What Sets Once Upon a Farm Apart From Other Baby Food Brands?
Did you know that Once Upon a Farm was the first cold-pressed baby food brand? Beyond being the first—which is something we’re very proud of—our brand stands apart from the baby food crowd in many ways. Let’s discuss.
Cold Pressed to Perfection
All of our pouches and bowls use high-pressure processing (HPP) to protect the products. While some brands use heat, our HPP method uses pressure to kill any bad bacteria such as E. coli, listeria, and salmonella, but retain the nutrients, taste, and texture of farm-fresh ingredients.
Options for All Stages and Needs
Our lineup includes limited-ingredient purées, pouches with more complex flavors, veggie-forward frozen meals, ready-in-minutes pasta, and a new line of pantry snacks: puffs, melts, and soft-baked toddler bars.
Organic & Non-GMO
We work closely with trusted organic farms to source our ingredients. We are USDA Certified Organic and NON-GMO Project verified. Our products also have NO sugar added with nothing synthetic ever.
Tested for Safety, 3x Over
We test for heavy metals, pesticides, and 400+ other contaminants in three different ways:
- Requiring our organic suppliers to regularly test
- Testing our products internally
- Independent product testing through a third party, Clean Label Project
High Quality Standards
We screen all potential vendors and their ingredients to ensure they meet our quality standards. We continually re-evaluate our processes to set standards for ourselves and our products that meet or exceed current regulations.
Driven By Values
We are driven by our values, and the desire to give back. We were the first fresh baby food brand eligible under WIC™. We are proud to partner with the non-profit Save the Children, with whom we launched our A Million Meals promise. Together, we’ve pledged to distribute 1,000,000 nutritious meals to children in food-insecure communities in the U.S. by 2025.
At the end of the day, we are a company of parents committed to providing the best products for children everywhere.
