Introducing Our Baby and Toddler Pantry Snacks

Clear out your snack drawer—we’ve got big news: Once Upon a Farm has entered the baby and toddler pantry snacks scene. With the launch of our Fruit & Veggie Puffs, Coconut Melts, and Tractor Wheels™, we have officially ventured into a new grocery aisle. And we couldn’t be more excited.

Since our founding in 2015, we have been pioneering refrigerated baby food and kids’ snacks. But it was time for us to move beyond the fridge and freezer. “We believe that all baby and kids’ categories should provide the quality, nutrition, and taste that little ones deserve,” says Once Upon a Farm Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer Cassandra Curtis, “including those on the shelf.” That’s why we decided to apply our exacting standards to these new snacks, “to help support a lifetime of healthy eating.”

Fruit & Veggie Puffs

Light, airy, and delicious, our organic Fruit & Veggie Puffs combine taste and convenience into quick-dissolving snacks. Puffs are often among the first solid foods introduced to babies (starting with crawlers aged 8–10 months) because they are designed for self-feeding (they’re easy for tiny hands to pick up). As Curtis explains, “They dissolve easily, help encourage the pincer grasp, and help develop tongue movement.” Our star-shaped puffs are unsweetened, rice & corn free, made with avocado oil and sorghum (a nutritious, climate-resistant crop).

Coconut Melts

“Parents have been begging us to create melts that live up to the Once Upon a Farm standards,” Curtis shares. Our organic Coconut Melts deliver. They are a highly convenient, on-the-go snack. Creamy and delicious, they easily melt in your kiddo’s mouth. Ideal for babies learning to chew and swallow, the shape will encourage self-feeding and help develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the pincer grasp (just like the Puffs). The melts are made from real fruit with no added sugar‡ and added probiotics, which help boost beneficial gut bacteria.

Organic, made with 100% whole grain oats, and sweetened only with real fruits and veggies, these soft-baked snack bars are shaped like wheels to fit perfectly in those little hands. Tractor Wheels are made for teething tots, and older kids. They are great on-the-go snacks that you might even want to enjoy, too!
