We believe that when babies and kids have access to fresh, nutritious food, they’re better prepared for a lifetime of health, happiness and meaningful contribution to the world, but we know not all kids have access to fresh foods which is why we decided to become the first fresh baby food to be accepted by the WIC program and USDA’s special supplemental nutrition program.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to bat at nutritional risk.
Currently, only 12 states allow organic baby food to be included in WIC. So far, our Baby Food Bowls [link to products] have been approved in West Virginia, Florida, Connecticut and Vermont, and we are in the process of getting approval in additional states!
We believe every family deserves access to fresh, healthier foods, no matter their circumstance and it’s our mission to bring better nutrition to all children, everywhere.
A healthy planet is at the heart of everything we do, and so we do business in a way that minimizes our impact on the earth and maximizes proactive efforts to keep it healthy for generations to come.
Every ingredient in our products is Certified USDA Organic and grown by passionate organic farmers we know and trust. We’re a proud member of the Organic Trade Association.
All of our ingredients are sustainably grown and Non-GMO Project Verified, and because we source many of them from local farms within California, we’re helping reduce our carbon footprint. Our BPA-free pouches are recyclable through TerraCycle.
We’re proud to be a B Corp, which means we’re part of a global movement of people using business as a force for good. As a B Corp member, we meet the highest standards of overall social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

We believe working parents deserve to be supported which is why we support the FAMILY Act put forth in Congress to keep working people in the jobs they need while allowing them to meet the dual responsibilities many of us face.
