How to Travel with Once Upon a Farm

Summer is the season for travel and our pouches are ready for the adventure!

Not only are our pouches portable (who wants to deal with cups, jars and spoons in the car?), but they’re a refreshing treat to beat the summer heat! Our cold pressure process keeps our blends cold from the moment they’re made. They are also stored cold (in the dairy section or refrigerated section of the baby aisle at the store or in your own fridge at home), but can very easily be taken on the go by following a few simple steps:

Traveling with Once Upon a Farm

Grab and go: Our pouches can be left out of the refrigerator for up to 4 hours, so grab a pouch for any outing and uncap within 4 hours for optimal eating.

Take a tote: If traveling for longer than 4 hours, pack your pouches in a cooler with an ice pack and be on your way!

Freeze and thaw: If you don’t have ice packs handy, just freeze your pouches and allow them to thaw thoroughly before eating

Take through TSA: Feel like flying? Simply designate your pouches as baby food and put them in a separate bin as you move through TSA screening at the airport. They’ll be ready to eat by the time you’re at 10,000 feet.

BONUS ice pack alternative: If frozen and put in lunches, our pouches can also help keep other food cold!

We’re all about convenience without compromise, so you can feel good about what you’re feeding your little one even when you’re on-the-go. And without the stress, time, energy and money put into making homemade baby food yourself, you’ll have more time to spend with your family all summer long!

To sum it all up, don’t let your kiddos’ snacks hold you back from summertime travel. Just remember these few simple steps and have a wonderful time! Or, in the words of Dr. Seuss, “you’re off to great places, today is your day, your mountain is waiting, so get on your way!”
